Lifting The Lid Reveals Words From Psalm 122 Which Have Been Sung At Every Coronation Since That Of King Charles I In 1625.

At Her Majesty The Queen’S Coronation In 1953, The Words Were Set To A Composition By Sir Hubert Parry Which Was Played As The Queen Entered Westminster Abbey.

Inner Inscription Reads:
